Dermal Terms and conditions

Please Read below before booking in with our clinic. These are to ensure fairness and safety for all our clients. We want to ensure respect for our Clinician and the protection of the Dermal Clinic.

Clinical. Faith-led. Results-focused.

Welcome to La Pelle Skin & Health—a professional skin clinic delivering evidence-based, medical-grade treatments in a nurturing and faith-aligned environment.

We are not a day spa. We are an Allied Health-led clinical practice that is committed to transforming your skin health through science, consistency, and care. Our Dermal Clinician has over 4+ years of university education and is registered with the ASDC, with experience in treating complex skin concerns.

By booking with us, you agree to the following terms that protect your journey, our clinic, and the integrity of the services we provide.

Your First Visit & Consultation – What to Expect

Your skin journey at La Pelle begins with a thorough, evidence-based consultation—not with a treatment. This is intentional and essential.

On your first visit, you can expect:

✔️ A warm welcome and a calm, professional environment
✔️ A detailed skin analysis and review of your history, lifestyle, and concerns
✔️ Clinical photography or assessment as needed
✔️ Education on your skin condition(s), triggers, and treatment options
✔️ A patch test (where applicable)
✔️ A custom treatment plan designed specifically for your skin’s goals and health

We do not perform treatments at the first appointment.

This is to allow adequate time for assessment, safety checks, and to ensure there is no risk in rushing into procedures without clear understanding or preparation.

Program-Driven, Not One-Off Focused

We are not designed for quick, one-off treatments or casual drop-ins.

Why?

Because skin health requires more than a single session—it takes consistency, trust, and the right strategy over time.

That’s why our clinic has been intentionally built around treatment programs and membership pathways.

These allow us to:

  • Build rapport and clinical trust with you

  • Maintain consistency in timeframes, which is critical for results

  • Support your skin through each phase of treatment

  • Ensure follow-up care and homecare compliance

  • Help you feel guided—not left wondering what’s next

We do offer pay-as-you-go options, but we’ll always explain that this approach may not be the most effective in reaching long-term goals if visits are inconsistent. Our programs are carefully designed to prevent unrealistic expectations, rushed outcomes, or incomplete care. We strive in making skin and health care long term sustainable, affordable and accessible.

Pre-Booking for Best Outcomes

We pre-book your treatment plan at your consult to:

  • Reserve your space in our schedule

  • Keep your skin on track with the correct clinical timing

  • Ensure your commitment and our consistency

  • Avoid delays that could affect progress

We focus on treatment programs and memberships—because skin health requires commitment, consistency, and trust. We will pre-book your treatments in advance to ensure we stay within the clinical time frames required for best results.

We deeply value your time and investment, and we match that by planning your journey with clinical structure and compassionate care.

Nature of Treaments

Please understand that there are no guaranteed results from treatment. Many variables exist, such as age, sun damage, ongoing exposure, smoking, excessive alcohol intake, climate, diet and water intake, skin thickness, and sensitivity.

Considering the time frame of results, it may take several treatments to obtain the desired results.

Clinic Results and Exspectations

The result of a one-time treatment may not show results instantly, but once you commit to a series of prescribed treatments it may provide improvement. However, in order to see significant results, these treatments need to be done in a series by the recommended time frame and in combination with following before and aftercare.

General and common side effects from post procedure

These side effects mainly occur within 24-72 hours of most advanced dermal treatments and should subside as skin goes through wound healing and tissue repair. Our clinician will provide verbal and written post-care to assist with your downtime and a follow-up text/ email after your first modality treatment.
