"Hey, I’m Chris! I’m a Myotherapist who’s passionate about helping people move better and feel great. I started out in exercise and fitness, then fell in love with hands on treatment and became a remedial massage therapist. Now, through Myotherapy, I focus on finding and fixing the everyday pain that holds people back.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll probably find me watching Essendon play or having a go at just about any sport!"

WHAT IS A MYOTHERAPIST?
Myotherapy is a form of physical therapy focused on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of muscle, joint and nerve pain. It involves a variety of manual therapies like soft tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation, cupping and dry needling to address pain and restricted movement caused by muscle/joint overuse, poor posture, or injury. A myotherapist will also provide corrective exercises, and advice on pain management to help with lasting change.

Meet Stacey, an Dental Assistant. With a formal Dental Assisting qualification from RMIT and a real passion for making every patient feel at ease, Stacey brings both expertise and warmth to our clinic.
With hands-on experience across Melbourne, Stacey is known for gentle chairside assistance, a calm and friendly manner, and an eye for detail in every aspect of care from infection control and sterilisation to patient oral hygiene education.

WHAT IS A DENTAL ASSISTANT?
Briefly, a dental assistant is someone who assists a range of oral health professionals such as Dentists, Dental Specialists, Oral Health Therapists, Dental Hygienists and Dental Prosthetists. Dental Assistants can undertake administrative tasks such as reception, appointment scheduling, payment and receipts as well as clinical management and chairside assisting. Dental Assistants work as a multiskilled member of a dental team, and can also work in management, health promotion and policy development roles.

A Dietitian is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who is qualified to provide expert nutrition advice and support. Dietitians use their in-depth knowledge of food and nutrition to help individuals improve their health and wellbeing. They are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat nutrition-related conditions, helping to manage a wide range of health issues such as diabetes, heart disease, digestive disorders, and food allergies.
Dietitians are university-trained health professionals, with a degree in dietetics, and they complete practical training in clinical, food service, and community settings. As members of Dietitians Australia, the professional association representing dietitians in Australia, they are held to high ethical standards and must undertake continuous professional development to ensure their knowledge remains current and evidence-based.Dietitians use their expertise to provide personalized nutrition care based on the latest research, helping people make informed food choices to optimise their health. They offer advice in areas like weight management, chronic disease prevention, and optimal nutrition during pregnancy, childhood, or other stages of life.
